William Chan

William is a very patience man; he broke down investment and saving concepts into small chunks for me to digest and made sure that I understood what was being discussed before moving forward. These was essentially a very important point for a non-business uni student like me. Throughout my sessions with him, I appreciated his flexibility the most, being able to answer random investment questions that I stumble upon externally has really help me deepen my overall understanding of investment.

Prior to meeting William he took the extra effort to look into my current portfolio early and deep dive into those information. He then gave advice specifically catering to them! I like to add on that even though the information given was fully in Chinese he cross refers and understood them well to provide me with suggestions and solutions. I felt that this is not normal, and William should be applauded! Meeting with him has given me a lot of clarity and assurance. He even advised me on other stuff that is outside of what normal financial planner does. I really recommend others to speak with him if possible. He is really genuine and shows that he cares for the client and friends he works with.

I got to know William through my bf and from the first conversation, he felt more like a friend than someone who just wanted to do business with me. William was patient, understanding and also wanted to know more about what I was looking for in an FA. I had a lot of complications with my policies, with the biggest being that I had multiple agents and a lack of communication with all of them. William patiently looked through everything, and gave clarity to what my policies covered/lacked and also gave solutions to the problems. Not only did he help to untangle my policies, but he even took the extra step to be there with me while I went to the different agencies to sort my things out. He also put together a super detailed financial plan for my bf and I, to give us assurance that our finances were alright for the next season of our lives.

I got to know William through playing games with him many years ago and he was always a very friendly and genuine person. Every time we meet he would patiently answer all my questions and always gave me advice and options for what's best for me!

I chose him to be my associate because I feel that he is up to the job and very serious about what he does. I had quite a few decisions that I needed to make financially for my future and many doubts about whether I could reach my goals but William helped me to clear those doubts which led to me making more precise and clearer decisions. I appreciate that every time we meet, he's not trying to sell me a product or trying to convince me to get something, but he is genuinely trying to make my life better by helping me as much as he can! He only offer what is best for me and it's not pressurising at all.
